Orange Cocoa Cookies
Imagine orange hot chocolate, but in a cookie. A rich dark chocolate dough accentuated with Grand Marnier, orange zest and topped with a toasty marshmallow.

Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder I used dark chocolate cocoa powder
- 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 Orange Zest
Wet Ingredients
- 1 bag Dark Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 eggs
- 3 teaspoons Grand Marnier
Chocolate + Marshmallow
- 12 Marshmallows cut in half
- 24 squares or pieces chocolate I used a 60% Ghirardelli Baking Bar

Instructions
- Whisk all dry ingredients together until evenly dispersed. Set aside.
- Melt chocolate chips and butter in the microwave for 1 minute and then stir to combine. Chocolate should be smooth with no lumps. Pour into the dry ingredients.
- Add the eggs and the Grand Marnier and mix until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Form dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and flatten them slightly on the sheet.
- Bake @ 325 °F for 8-10 minutes.
- Remove cookies from oven and press chocolate into each cookie and then top with a marshmallow that has been cut in half.
- Put the cookies back in the oven and bake for about 5 more minutes. Marshmallows should be puffy 😃
- Sprinkle the cookies with cinnamon ever so slightly.
